Homes as distinctive as the people who live in them

Hi, I'm Kitty.

I design homes that feel amazing to be in. The kind of place you walk into and your shoulders drop. Rooms with a bit of boldness and plenty of unexpected details, but that never feel like they're trying too hard. A bit like slinging a denim jacket over a dressy outfit: considered, a little glamorous, relaxed and at ease.

My favourite projects often start with a jumble. A camera roll full of hotel bathrooms, a rug picked up on a trip years ago, a painting you love that doesn't seem to go with anything, and a nagging sense that your home doesn't quite feel like you yet. My job is to listen properly, make sense of it all, and bring it together into something cohesive that's unmistakably yours.

I love mixing the old with the new: vintage and antique finds alongside contemporary pieces, colour in all its nuances, natural materials and lots of texture. I'm always balancing subtle with bold and understated with dramatic, then editing it back so it feels relaxed rather than precious.

Beautiful, and easy to live in

I don't believe a home should look perfect but feel uncomfortable. I want sofas you can sink into (and that children are allowed on), walls with room for art and the things you've collected, and a home that can grow and change with you.

I'm also secretly obsessed with the practical side: flow, storage, and making sure everything has a place. Real life is messy, and a well designed home makes it easy to tidy the chaos away at the end of the day.

Why it matters to me

I genuinely believe our surroundings shape how we feel, how we live and how our lives unfold. A home that reflects who you are, and who you want to be, can be grounding and energising at the same time. It clears space, both mental and physical, for the things that matter most. Seeing a client walk into their finished home and light up is the best feeling and is still my favourite part of the job.

A bit about me

I studied History of Art at Leeds University, then the Diploma in Interior Design at KLC, Chelsea Harbour. I spent several years at an award-winning London design firm before setting up my own studio. Alongside interiors, I've worked as a Production and Set Designer on music videos and award-winning short films, which taught me a lot about storytelling, atmosphere and the power of a small detail.

My studio is based in East London and deliberately small. I take on a handful of projects at a time, in London, across the UK and further afield, so you work with me directly from our first conversation to the final finishing touches.

Working together

I do my best work with people who are curious and open to trying something new, whether that's a colour they'd never have chosen or a mix of styles they weren't sure would work. People who travel, collect, love art, and see their home as part of how they want to live, not just how it looks.
