If you don’t want to use the full design service, this could be your perfect solution.

Consultation is an easy going way to get as much information and creative help as you need, as and when you need it.

You can dip in and out of the consultation service throughout your project whenever you want - no strings attached.

Call this ‘a helping hand’ - with inspiration, insider tips and tricks and sourcing secrets.

When you’re renovating or redecorating yourself it can be easy to become lost in a sea of ideas, paralysed by choice and terrified of making expensive mistakes.

I’ll bring fresh eyes to the situation, allay your fears and bring clarity and excitement back into the proceedings.

For example…

  • Sorting through your ideas and helping you get clear on your creative direction.

  • Make you moodboards to hone the style you’re going for.

  • Help you step out of your comfort zone - and with confidence! Mulling some wild ideas? I’ll tell you what would work and what definitely wouldn’t.

  • Space planning. Room a funny shape? No problem. We’ll streamline the layout so you get the most out of every nook and cranny.

  • Choose paint colours. Figure out which grey is the right grey once and for all…or which ‘plaster pink’ offsets that ‘deep midnight blue’ you’re obsessing over for your bedroom.

  • Put together a pack of samples, finishes and suggest fixtures & fittings that work with your budget.

I’ll follow up with a pack of notes, sourcing suggestions, reference images, floorplans if required, links to useful websites and any other info I think would smooth your way.

NB> I also offer this service remotely.

Charged by the hour, ½ day or full day.

”The house we love and which we had decorated piecemeal over many years was looking tired and in need of some inspired changes to awaken its potential. We had some ideas but were unsure how to coordinate these… we knew we needed help!

Kitty’s keen observation and active listening helped us express a design that felt natural and authentic to our lifestyle. By the end of the first consultation Kitty had helped us decide on a colour palette, complimentary to each room, linking the ground floor up to the top. By the time of the second consultation the painters were on site as we explored options for lighting throughout, cabinetry and flooring for the kitchen as well as a colour scheme for creating a more sedate room for quiet activities.

With Kitty’s expertise we were confident to make bold choices that we may otherwise not have considered. Thank you Kitty for breathing new life into our home after its long sleep.
