Sumptuous, but relaxed.
A Grade II* listed Queen Anne house that had stood derelict for years and needed a complete overhaul. I fused its traditional character with vintage-modern pieces for an unexpected spin.
On the top floor, I added a bathroom and dressing room to create a private suite, and designed most of the furniture bespoke to fit the house’s proportions.
The materials are thick natural linen, cashmere wool, velvet, a touch of silk, honed marble and waxed oak. Glorious.
